General Policies
POLICIES & TERMS OF ENROLLMENT: - Registration is a CONTRACT between you and the Academy, and you agree to our terms and conditions. - This Registration AND the Confirmation you will receive automatically via return email is 'PROVISIONAL'. Final acceptance and placement into programs/groups is based on our evaluations at the start of the programs. - We refund your Deposit ONLY IF: (1) we are unable to place you in the program/day you have selected and you are unable to switch to another option recommended by us, or (2) for NEW enrolees only - if after your first 'trial day' at the program you do not wish to continue. - From the second day onwards your continued registration and/or attendance initiates a contract for the entire season (40 weeks, 34 weeks, 24 weeks, 10 weeks, etc., as the case may be) and the parent/guardian is liable for the entire balance due on this completed registration until paid in full, whether or not you have attended in full. - Please refer to the 'Calendar' on this website for all seasonal start and end dates.
CHANGES POLICY: Requests for changes in day, time or program of enrollment must be in WRITING - email, fax or post. RMTA will try to accommodate such requests to the best of its ability, but does not guarantee it. Program types and days are not interchangeable. Please note - we will not acknowledge or honor verbal and/or telephonic messages in this regard. Changes are likely to result in new charges or credits and you agree to abide by the revised balance due on your account.
MAKE-UPS POLICY: Make-ups are NOT guaranteed - however, RMTA will try to accommodate make-ups to the best of its ability. Make-ups must be scheduled with the Coordinator, at a mutually suitable and available time, before the end of the season. Make-ups cannot be carried over into the next season. If your regularly scheduled Professional is unavailable, your lesson/session will not be cancelled/postponed, but will be taught by another Professional as directed by the Program Director - such a situation is not considered reason for a make-up.
When program sessions or private lessons are missed or cancelled due to events that are beyond RMTA's control, such as inclement weather, local or national crisis or emergency, religious holidays, etc., there will be no make-ups, refunds or house-credits provided.
WAIVER: I have read and do accept the policies listed herein. I also understand and acknowledge the risks of injury that are inherent in any program involving physical activity and/or transportation, and as the parent/guardian of the child named herein, I hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against The Tennis Edge, Inc. / dba: Randy Mani Tennis Academy (RMTA), the program director/s, instructors, employees, owners, Tennisport, Inc. and its employees, owners and/or any other sponsors and their respective representatives for any damage to or loss of property and for any and all injuries sustained by my child/ward in connection with any participation in this tennis program/academy.
